1980 FERRARI 400i - $110000

The 400i marked the introduction of fuel injection to Ferrari’s 2+2 Grand Tourers in 1979,
offered with a 4.8L V12 with the option of a three-speed automatic or 5-speed manual
transmission. The 400i blended Ferrari performance with subtle and elegant styling cues.

This gorgeous example is a Ferrari 400i finished in what is believed to be ‘Blu Ortis’, a deep
and rich navy blue. It is a factory right hand drive example with the current owner stating that
it has resided in Adelaide for 30 years and is well known within the Ferrari Club of Adelaide.
The exterior profile is elegant, with a series of simple angles and sharp edges true of late 70s
early 80s Ferrari styling. The exterior is completed by a set of factory ‘Campagnolo’ wheels at
each corner with new stickers applied and set of original style Michelin tyres fitted. The
underside of this 400i has also been well detailed.

The interior presents well and compliments the exterior with a series of blue leathers and
carpet throughout. With the interior presenting mostly original, the seats have been retrimmed
in new leather and look & feel fantastic. The original radio has also been replaced at some
stage for a newer VDO unit. Located in the boot, one will find the tool bag and tyre iron.

This 400i features the 4.8L fuel injected V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission.
The current owner states that $6k worth of mechanical work has been completed as well as
new suspension worth $12k.

A true classic amongst Ferrari’s 2+2 Grand Tourer portfolio, take the opportunity to secure
this excellent 400i.
